Volunteering

For 11 years, the commitment of our volunteers has been essential in helping the RIDM to become a great success: so what about getting involved?

Festival volunteers

There are a number of positions available for volunteers during the festival: logistics assistant, reception hosts, registrars, polling the public, taking care of invited guests...

Volunteering for the RIDM will give you the opportunity to:

Participate in an international documentary festival
Contribute to Montreal’s dynamic cultural life
Meet documentary filmmakers and industry professionals, and exchange ideas with people who love documentaries
Participate in events organized by the RIDM
See some wonderful films

Year-round volunteers

Do you have any particular skill or interest that may fit the RIDM's needs? Throughout the year, we also need help in data-base administration (data entry, updating), translation tasks and promoting the RIDM’s other events (putting up posters, contacts with university and community groups).
