Rough Cut Lab
Moderated by American editor Joe Bini (Grizzly Man, Cave of Forgotten Dreams and The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans), Rough Cut Lab gives the crew of a film in the editing phase the chance to get advice from an experienced, well-known professional editor. The activity will start with a public screening of the rough cut, followed by a discussion among the key crew members (director, producer, editor), led by Joe Bini. The goal of this new initiatie is to give personalized support in the process of finalizing a Canadian feature film, while also giving the audience an insider’s look at the thinking and creative process behind a documentary.
